On Friday, 06 March 2026, Timor Port commemorated International Women’s Day by honoring the vital contributions of women in port logistics under the theme “Women who drive in Port Logistics”.

Held at the Timor Port facilities, the event brought together female employees and representatives from the Operations Management Team in a show of collective support for gender equality in the workplace. The program featured informative sessions, networking opportunities, and recognition activities aimed at celebrating the achievements and leadership of women in port operations.

The main activities of this year was a financial literacy session around the topic “Money Minded,” delivered by Jennie Bolang, Customer Experience Manager and Maria Fernandes, RSO Resource Energy & Infrastructure at ANZ Bank. it was an opportunity for women to learn more about practical guidance on financial planning and included an interactive question-and-answer segment for participants.

Participants also engaged in group activities, networking discussions, and informal exchanges that encouraged the sharing of experiences and strengthened connections across the organization. The event concluded with an appreciation ceremony and gift presentation, followed by closing remarks from the Human Resources Department.
